Chaps and Chapettes,
The beauty of drifting is that it can be whatever you want it to be. You can spend as much or as little as you like to just have fun or try to compete. People will tell you that there is a right or wrong way of doing things but ultimately it’s a subjective sport. You can give or take from it what you like.
Mark is a man who understands this. His 200sx is built to a very high specification because that is what he wants to do with it. He is happy to take it out and put it on display at car shows but will also blast it around the track sideways on a practise day and uses it as a fun weekend toy on the road.
It’s not a competition car. Although he could sell it as such. He built it to please him not to beat the next car along.
The spec is as follows (brace yourselves):
-Apexi air filter
-Stage 2 ECU
-Japspeed exhaust system
-Japspeed alloy rad
-GReedy oil cooler,
-BC Racing coilovers
-nismo gearbox mount
-r33 gtst full brake set up with braided lines
-Rota Grid wheels 9.5j et12 17″ with Yokohama ado8r tyres
-URAS body kit
-D Max spoiler
-custom rear diffuser
-NISMO bonnet vent
-Charge Speed 50mm overfenders
-30mm vented wings
-Cobra bucket seats
-internal and external electrical cut offs
-fire extinguisher kit
-snap off steering wheel
-Hydraulic handbrake with braided lines
-B&M quick shift
All in all it’s a savage car and one you will more than likely see at a lot of car shows next year. Mark is a really nice guy too so if you have any questions about the car then be sure to go and say hi!
