As well as the main judged concours classes, each day of the London Concours would have a different showcase event.
I have covered all the main concours classes in a number of posts. The most recent of which was the Wildcards class which can be found here: https://motorsportformentalhealth.com/2024/07/02/london-concours-2024-wildcards/
I went on the Wednesday which was E-Type day which was a celebration of the iconic British sports car that Enzo Ferrari was rumoured to have called “The most beautiful car in the world.”
The E-Type was launched in 1961 as a replacement for the XK series of sports cars. (In the U.S the E-Type kept the XK moniker and was marketed as the XKE.)
The E-Type was produced over 3 series and production ended in 1974.

Today I’m just going to make a simple gallery showcasing all of the lovely cars that were a part of this display.
I’m afraid this concludes my London Concours coverage. The London Concours is a fantastic show, certainly one of the highlights of my calendar. I hope you enjoyed me breaking the show down into a number of posts so I could spend a bit more time on each category, rather than trying to do one long post. It certainly made my job easier!
