Whilst SEMA is obviously largely a full size car show, there are always a couple of RC manufacturers that have stands.
First off we’re going to take a look at Team Associated’s line up.
Vintage RC racing really took off in 2025 with clubs taking on vintage classes along with larger events and championships. Several manufacturers have rereleased some of their old kits including Associated who have really taken to vintage racing with their RC10 range!
Firstly we have a line of RC10 buggies.

Also in the RC10 family is this Porsche 959 rally car:

The RC10DS on road racer with this lovely 1980s silhouette racer body (I think that IRL these ran in the Trans-Am series? In Europe the closest equivalent would probably be Group 5. I’m not 100% sure about these though, so if anyone wants to educate me in the comments please feel free.)

RC10 Truggies:

The RC10F6 Formula car. This looks like great fun!

Finally the RC10 6×6. I’d love to see a handful of these race. I’d imagine they’re very entertaining!

I’ve dipped my toe into the world of smaller scale RC with a couple of crawlers this year and have really enjoyed it. This is a 1/28 scale GT car (RC28R). It’s tiny and brilliant! You could build a really good track for these in an area the size of a garage.
Look how tiny it is next to the front wheel of the 1/10 buggy behind it!

The RC12 – 12th scale pan car. LMP12 and GT12 are two classes of car I’d still be interested in building and racing.

Finally to finish off the booth was a full size RC10.

I mentioned I had got into microcrawlers earlier. Traxxas had a nice selection of their 1/18 scale TRX4M on display.

They had a course set up where passersby could have a go.

They had some 1/10th scale crawlers too.

I really enjoyed the trucks with the boats on trailers. If I had the space to keep it I’d love to do a 1/10 scale crawler with a trailer to pull a 1/10 scale race or drift car. They do look really good!

A few more bits from the Traxxas stand:

As with Associated, Traxxas also had a full size car on their stand – a sand buggy.

Finally on the Traxxas stand we have this 6×6 flat bed.

Although Redcat Racing weren’t at SEMA this year – I still think the coolest recovery truck on the market is their cab over engine truck. I’d love one with a trailer for taking a pair of cars to the track. They look so good!
Venom Power Tires had a Redcat COE on their stand with a Redcat lowrider on the back. The paint work was incredible!
