The Toyo Tires Treadpass is one of my favourite features of the SEMA Show.
Located between the Central and South Halls, the Toyo Tires Treadpass is a massive white marquee with white carpeting that houses some of the best builds the show has to offer.

DRVNmind’s Daniel K Song returned to the Treadpass. This year he brought a widebodied Aston Martin Vantage.
Shawn Bassett and Attack The Clock Racing also made a return with this incredible little Time Attack kei truck.
Marv had a stunning E24 6 Series on the Treadpass in 2019. It was nice to see his freshest creation – a E36 Touring. I particularly like the roll cage with two main hoops that’s allowed him to keep the back seats useable.
Electric G-Wagon convertible. This would get you some style points in Hollywood or maybe Kensington in London. The conversion was really neatly done. There’s a lot of companies producing aftermarket motors, batteries and ECUs for converting vehicles to electric. There will be an article produced about some of these companies coming soon. If I’m clever, I’ll link it here once it is written.
Speaking of interesting conversions – a Mercedes V12 into a BMW Z4. My favourite part of this build is that it still, according to motor1.com, has working air conditioning haha!
It’s an incredible machine though. Apparently the team behind it are aiming to make 1500bhp which is a huge amount in any car, but in a car the size of a Z4 will certainly be an experience!
Super clean 190e. I know I’m a GT86 owner now but I still have a soft spot for 1980s and 1990s Mercedes.
S-Klub LA always bring interesting cars to the Treadpass. This year they brought the 612TR Teppista. It’s based on the 612 Scaglietti but looks like a 1950s Testarossa.
They also brought out this Tiffany & Co themed 612. The interior is certainly bold but with the stripe and other teal details around the car it actually worked well. Especially being a white car and surrounded by the white carpeting and walls, it really gave that high end, fashion photoshoot feel. I like it.
