Porsche’s Sonderwunsch (German for ‘Special Request’) is a program that allows customers a greater deal of customisation than the dealer network would typically be able to accommodate for.
The 2026 London Concours had a class celebrating some of this department’s creations.
There were three 930 Turbo Flachbau (or flatnose) The Flachbau was an aerodynamic upgrade inspired by the 935 race car.
There were two coupes:

Along with a cabriolet.

Another 930 Turbo. Though this one had the standard bodywork, it had received a whole host of performance upgrades from the Sonderwunsch

One of 86 964 Turbo S Leichtbaus and one of 11 UK delivered right hand driven examples. These were a lightweight performance oriented car with reduced sound deadening, manual windows with thinner glass panes, no power steering amongst other weight saving measures.
The total weight saving over the standard car was just shy of 180KG whilst power was upgraded to 381bhp. Brakes and suspension were also upgraded.

This 928 boasts a Muscat Brown exterior with a Pasha and Champagne interior as provided by Sonderwunsch.

This 718 Spyder was apparently the final Spyder RS to leave the factory. It was ordered by motoring journalist Zaid Hamid through Porsche Centre High Wycombe, and was the centre’s first Sonderwunsch project!

Finally we have a 992.1 generation 911 Turbo S, specially built for Porsche Club GB board member Ian Bevis’ 50th birthday. A fantastic birthday present!

I hope you enjoyed this little look around the Sonderwunsch class of the 2026 London Concours.
