The Icons Remastered class at the 2026 London Concours was a collection of commercially available reimaginings of classic cars.
Some of these have been built from pre-existing historic bodyshells, others have been built from the ground up.
One such car is the Automotive Artisans’ R33 Stradale which is a British-built homage to the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale. Power is supplied 400hp, Ferrari F136 V8 (from a 458 Italia or Maserati GranTurismo) to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.
Another is Retropower’s Audi Quattro S1, which is a British built recreation of Audi’s S1/E2 short-wheelbase Group B rally car.
The MZR Evolution by, MZR RoadSports, is based on the Datsun 240Z.
25 of these XKGTs will be built by Thornley Kelham. Whilst based on a XK140 chassis, this car is completely reworked. Under the amulimium body is a more modern aluminium, fuel injected Jaguar straight six producing 350bhp. A reworked suspension and disc brakes compliment the increase in power and it even has air conditioning!
Eagle restore and prepare ‘regular’ E-Types as well as producing their own line of specials. This is the Eagle Low Drag GT.
In the early 1960s Jaguar wated to take the E-Type to LeMans, but the standard body wasn’t aerodynamic enough. Several low drag cars were built by a number of teams. This car is a homage to them.

This is their tribute to the Wood & Pickett coachbuilt Minis.
There were three classic 911s. The first, and most famous, is by Singer who are world renowned for rebuilding classic Porsches.
Next was a 993 generation 911 by Tuthill.
Finally we have the Gunther Werks Turbo. 75 examples of the heavily modified 993 are being built.
It features a 4.0 litre twin turbo flat-6 built by Rothsport Racing that produces 600hp in it’s ‘street’ map and up to 850hp in its track mode!
